Consultancy and project work
It’s often said that “people are our biggest asset”.
This is certainly true, however people can also be an organisation’s biggest cost and greatest liability, especially when poor performance can impact the quality and compliance of client work.
Training is often just part of the solution here – sometimes it’s no part of the solution and can occasionally even be part of the problem!
At Training Counts, we have experience of the entire ‘life cycle’ of managing the
performance of professional and support staff -
Examples of consultancy projects:
§ Developing a ‘Now Where How’ staff plan for a small underperforming professional services business group which included the design of a simple 360 degree assessment tool.
§ Reviewing training needs from the annual round of appraisals and making recommendations for follow up.
§ Working with a department to improve the ability of staff at newly qualified level to manage assignments more effectively.
§ Advising on the recruitment of graduate trainees into a professional qualification training scheme.
§ Integrating business and management skills sessions into an otherwise technically focused trainee curriculum.
We’re also happy providing the temporary extra resource to start or complete an internal project that’s simply been ‘on the back burner’ for a while.
